Children's Opportunities at Calvary

Calvary's Commitment to Children - We believe each child who joins with us in children's opportunities should be safe and should hear the truth of God's Word in a way they can understand. In order to do this we provide regular teacher training opportunities and each person involved with children has been screened and trained in child abuse prevention.
•Nursery -Available for newborns - 2 years during most worship services and activities.

 

 

 

 

Sunday - 9:15 am - 10:30 am during Sunday School
              - 10:45 am - 12:00 pm during worship service
              - 6:00 pm during worship service
Wednesday - 6:45 pm - 8:00 pm during our IMPACT studies

Note: These are well baby nurseries, so we ask parents to help us by keeping their children with them if they are recovering from an illness. To facilitate that, we offer a quiet room with closed circuit presentations of the services in room 107 next to the auditorium.

 
•Sunday School– Children at Calvary enjoy learning about God and His Word through age-appropriate classes led by nurturing, loving teachers. The following Sunday School classes are offered year around

 

 

•2’s 3’s
•4’s & 5’s
•Kindergarten
•1st Grade
•2nd Grade
•3rd – 5th Grade – This group has a lot of fun learning the truth of God’s Word through creative activities and experiences. Our multiple teacher team works diligently to make the Bible come alive for these kids!
•Jr. High (6th – 8th Grades)
 
•Children's Church
 •Church-time classes are offered year around for children between 2 and 4 years of age. These classes are held during the 10:45 AM worship service and held in the same location as their Sunday School class.

•Children’s Worship Services are held during specific weeks of the fall, winter and spring months. These services are designed for kids in kindergarten through 5th grade.

 
•Wednesday IMPACT for children - begins at 6:45 pm

 

 

 

•Livewires - Children 4 years old - 1st grade meet at an age appropriate level, learning Bible truths not covered in Sunday School.

•Calvary's Kids - teaching doctrinally sound energetic music; written and arranged specifically for their stage of development and level of understanding. (grades 1-6) click here to view the brochure in PDF format.

•Jr. High Growth group - 7th and 8th graders meet to serve, pray and apply biblical truths to life.

 
•Summer Ministries - Children learn and grow during the adventure of our summer programs. Week long Vacation Bible School programs and back yard Bible clubs are used in different years to facilitate this growth.
 

•AWANA - 6 - 8 pm on most Mondays during the school year.


These age divided clubs for 3 year olds through 8th grade provide fun, Bible learning and life training.
