Senior Pastor - Jonathan Jenks

Pastor Jonathan Jenks, a native of upstate New York graduated from Cedarville University, Ohio where he met his wife Jeniffer. Pastor Jon graduated from Baptist Bible Seminary in 1996 after completing an Internship at Calvary Baptist in Wisconsin Rapids. He then served at CBC in the area of Church Education from May 1996 to December 2000 when he was called to be our senior pastor. He is currently working on his Master of Theology degree. He and his wife Jeniffer have three children.

He has implemented our "Spiritual Development Plan". A gifted administrator, and teacher, Pastor Jon leads Calvary to focus on discipleship and growing one another in Christ. He coordinates the teen ministry at Calvary (Dedicated for Life) and serves as the Youth Coordinator for the Wisconsin Association of Regular Baptist Churches as well. One of his responsibilities as Youth Coordinator includes Talents for Christ. He enjoys wilderness camping and spending time with his family.

Pastor of Outreach and Worship - Steve Barton

Pastor Steve Barton and his wife, Jennifer are graduates of Baptist Bible College in Clarks Summit, PA. They moved to Wisconsin Rapids from Elyria, OH, where he completed an internship at First Baptist Church as part of his Master of Divinity degree from Baptist Bible Seminary.

He is responsible for all aspects of Outreach at Calvary including Acts of Kindness and special events. He enjoys working with the Outreach Taskforce at Calvary to plan ways for our members to grow in their confidence and abilities to share their faith. He also works with a Worship Taskforce to direct the worship ministries of our church. This includes leading our Choir and planning our worship services.

He enjoys singing with various groups in the church, and most regularly with a men's trio called Crossroad. Pastor Steve has received intensive training from Faith Baptist Counseling Center. He and his wife Jennifer enjoy ministering with the F.R.E.D. ABF. Along with their 3 year old daughter Victoria, the Bartons truly enjoy the varied ministries of which they can be a part at Calvary.

Pastor of Church Education - Jack Austin

Pastor Jack Austin, oversees the Church Education ministries which include such areas as our Sunday School classes for all ages, AWANA clubs (4 yrs old through Jr. High), our children's ministries, Vacation Bible School, Backyard Bible Clubs, and children's choir. He feels passionately that building spiritually strong families is essential to building a strong, healthy church.

Pastor Jack and his wife, Sue, are natives of Michigan and have successfully raised their four children to be avid Michigan Wolverine fans. He graduated from Faith Baptist Bible College and completed a one-year pastoral internship in Grand Rapids, MI. Prior to coming to Calvary in January of 2002, the Austin family served at Bethel Baptist Church in Erie, Pennsylvania as well as the Summit Baptist Bible Church in Clarks Summit, Pennsylvania.

Pastor Jack has a good sense of humor. He enjoys deer and turkey hunting, following college sports and reading; however his most enjoyable activity is spending time with his family in a wide range of settings!
