We the teens of CBC exist to love one another, to help one another grow in Christ, to give the Gospel to the lost and to serve Christ in Wisconsin Rapids, beyond our city and beyond our teen years.

Teen Leadership Conference at Baptist Bible College in Clarks Summit PA

Our state Talents for Christ will be held on Saturday, April 17, 2010 at Calvary Baptist Church in Wisconsin Rapids.

We want to make sure your teens are registering and ready for this opportunity. Talents for Christ is a program to challenge students who are actively involved in GARBC churches to develop their God-given talents for ministry within their local churches and to honor those who demonstrate exceptional preparation and skill.

Cost for Scholarship Competition: $65 - Registration will be available on January 4, 2010

Participating Colleges:
" Baptist Bible College of Pennsylvania, Clarks Summit, Pennsylvania
" Faith Baptist Bible College, Ankeny, Iowa
" Piedmont Baptist College, Winston-Salem, North Carolina
" Shasta Bible College, Redding, California

•All Teens (9th - 12th grades)

•Sunday School 9:15 - 10:30 am provides Bible training and group interaction for personal application

•Youth Group Wednesday nights from 6:45 pm - 8:15 pm is for all teens and their friends. This includes fun, worship, Bible thinking, surprises and relationship building.

•Teens who commit to and desire to grow with their peers

•Mentor groups (8:00 - 8:30 pm Wed. nights Sept. - May) each willing teen will have an adult mentor assigned to them to encourage them in their devotional life, Bible memory, church participation and ministry development.

•Ministry Opportunities

Serving and Planning Team: teens commit to run YG activities and promote service by the entire YG

Worship Team; teens commit to help prompt worship in YG

Good News Club: teens commit to help at Grove Elementary School - meets Tuesdays at 3:15 PM

Wednesday Night Youth Group

5:45 (worship team, serving and planning team, or witness team)

6:45 - 7:15 Games (all teens and teen staff in the gym)

7:10 Announcements, Prayer & Worship Music / drama / in Room 5

7:40 Teaching

8:05 - 8:30 Mentor time (for accountability and spiritual encouragement)
